Finance and Accounting

• Independent management of day-to-day financial accounting
• Responsibility for accounts payable and accounts receivable, including the accounts receivable collection process
• Posting and reconciling bank accounts, as well as processing payments
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset Accounting Records
• Preparation of VAT returns for Switzerland and Germany
• Independently completing the monthly closing procedures
• Preparation of the annual financial statements in collaboration with the trustee, the auditor, and the authorities
• Preparation of legally required statistics and reports

Administration

• Responsibility for the vehicle fleet and selected contracts
• Ensuring the structured and complete filing of relevant documents

Processes & Continuous Improvement

• Optimization and Standardization of Financial and Administrative Processes
• Contributing to the digitization and automation of processes
• Further Development and Efficient Use of Processes in SAP

• Basic commercial training followed by further education to become a finance and accounting specialist with a federal certificate or comparable qualification; alternatively, through equivalent further education
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally at a manufacturing SME
• Experience with monthly and annual financial closing procedures
• Strong knowledge of Swiss value-added tax law; knowledge of German value-added tax is a plus
• An independent, precise, and structured approach to work, combined with a strong sense of responsibility
• A strong aptitude for numbers and an enjoyment of a diverse range of tasks
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience is a plus
